On April 27th (Friday), in the Takuminohako shop, We will perform a tie-dyeing workshop with a persimmon tanning craftsman!

Anyone can easily draw tie dye. Please feel free to join us. Children’s participation is also waiting!

In addition, On April 26th (Thursday) to May 7th (Monday), We will hold an event and sale of Mimasu’s persimmon products in Kyoto!

This time, a persimmon juice dyed craftsman who learns persimmon making as the third generation of family business, making persimmon seedlings as raw material, nurturing persimmon farms, all raising oneself.

 

Let’s bind the shawl with rubber bands, draw tie, and try making original works.

The persimmon juice dye shawl is gentle to the skin, hygienic, due to the antimicrobial effect of persimmon.

① You shrink shawl with threads and rubber bands.

② You dye it with iron roasting liquid.

③ Please wash at your house, please use.

Glass bead making workshop.

In the Takuminohako, we welcome Mrs. Midori Sato of Glass bead making artist and hold a Glass bead making workshop!
Why do not you try making yourself a Glass bead that shows various colors in the glass?
Midori Sato can also make it by order made.

■ Glass bead making workshop procedure

① Sprinkle on a stainless steel bar while melting the colored glass rod with a burner.
② The stainless steel rod keeps turning while keeping it parallel from the beginning to the end.
③ You will put a pattern when it becomes a circle of the size you want.
④ When it is completed, put it in the coarse ash and cool it.
⑤ Remove it from the ash after cooling, remove it from the stainless steel bar and wash the inside of the hole.
⑥ We will finish the necklace and straps made by your request.(A strap fee will be charged separately)

In the Takuminohako, We hold a painting workshop where you can make original Papier-mache doll.
The lecturer is Mr. Igarashi who is the second generation craftman of Kasukabe Papier-mache doll shop.

It is okay without painting experience!
Children are also popular.

2k540(Nikei goyonmaru) was developed by JR East urban development
It is a commercial facility based on the concept of manufacturing.
Etymology comes from railway terminology.
Railway officials use the distance starting from the station chief room of the Tokyo station as the term representing the station.
2k540 just got the name 2k540 because it hits 2km and 540m from Tokyo station.

Geographically, it is located under the elevated line of JR Yamanote Line / Keihin Tohoku Line.
It is 5 minutes on foot from JR Okachimachi station and 8 minutes on foot from JR Akihabara station.
Other 3 minutes on foot from Suehirocho station on subway Ginza line.
3 minutes on foot from Oedo Line Ueno Okachimachi Station.
4 minutes on foot from Nakajikacho Station on the Hibiya Line.
8 minutes on foot from Tsukuba Express Akihabara station.
